Short Description:

The Automated Lubricant Oxidation Stability Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with ASTM D 2272 and the petrochemical industry standard SH/T0193 "Rotary Oxygen Bomb Method for Determining Lubricant Oxidation Stability". This instrument is used to evaluate the oxidation stability of new and used steam turbine oils with identical composition (base oil and additives) under 150℃ conditions. It can also rapidly assess the oxidation stability of new mineral insulating oils containing 2,6-di-tert-butylhydroquinone and/or 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol antioxidants under 140℃ conditions. This instrument is not applicable for testing mineral insulating oils containing antioxidants with viscosity exceeding 12 mm²/s at 40℃.
