YH-0253A Micro Coulombic Sulfur-Chlorine Analyzer

Application principle:

In the sample, various forms of sulfur (chlorine) are converted into sulfur dioxide (all becoming HCl) under high temperature in nitrogen and oxygen atmospheres. The gas enters the titration cell, where electrolysis generates iodine that reacts with sulfur dioxide (while simultaneously producing silver ions in the cell that react with chloride ions). The computer automatically calculates the total sulfur content (or total chlorine content) based on the electricity consumed by the iodine (or silver ions) according to Faraday's law. The entire analytical process is computer-controlled, with samples loaded by an automated sampler, achieving a high degree of instrument automation.

Key technical features

1. 1. Using the principle of micro-coulomb analysis, a desktop computer with Windows operating platform is configured for direct human-computer interaction.
   2. The oxidation method is adopted to automatically test the content of sulfur or chlorine according to Faraday's law, and realize the rapid analysis of trace sulfur and chlorine in petrochemical products.
   3. The test is widely applicable and adaptable, and can be used to test chlorine in liquid, solid and gas samples.
   4. The operation and test software developed by ourselves can automatically complete data collection, processing, storage and printing.
   5. With a minimum sample volume of 10μl per test, the system achieves rapid analysis, requiring approximately (1-2) minutes per sample.
   6. The quartz cracking tube is made of high-purity quartz material to improve the accuracy and repeatability of the test.
   7. Use corrosion-resistant electrode caps to prevent electrolyte corrosion from causing poor contact and significant measurement errors.
   8. The micro-coulomb titrator employs a one-way valve dehydration device for chlorine content detection, effectively removing moisture from the sample gas to enhance measurement accuracy.
